Rockmart soccer suffers losses

The Adairsville girls soccer team won in convincing fashion, shutting out Rockmart 9-0.

For the Lady Tigers, Skylar Maddox and Alisha Boswell had three goals each. Cassidy Greene, April Anglin and Emily Cole each had one.

Keeper Shelly Huskins earned the shutout for Adairsville (1-2).

For Rockmart (0-3), keeper Callie Bennett had 17 saves.

The Rockmart boys were also defeated, unable to hold off the Adairsville Tigers in an area game.

Rockmart’s only goals came from Samuel Camara as Adairsville downs Rockmart 6-2.
