This release was sent from the office of Max Wood:

On Thursday, Republican candidate for Georgia Attorney General Max Wood visited Rockmart and said he was nothing short of impressed with the many fine people he met.

He visited the First Baptist Church Golden Age monthly meeting and was lucky to call on Wanda Mooring, Dr. Bruce and Denise Bell, former mayor Steve Smith and his wife Carol, Janice Kinney, Bob Calvert and Derek Netles.

Mr. Wood wants the people of Polk County – and the people in every Georgia county for that matter – to know that he finds them all equally important. As Attorney General, he says he will vigorously defend the rights of all Georgia communities equally. Likewise, he says he will vigorously and equally prosecute those who would attack these communities.

Please visit www.woodforattroenygeneral.com to see his programs for stiffer illegal immigration efforts, programs for a statewide grand jury system and his plans to create a state Solicitor General.

A Solicitor General will help Georgia officials develop expertise on Constitutional issues that affect the rights of Georgians on issues covered under the 10th Amendment to the U. S. Constitution. This approach will allow Georgia to have proactive input into legal issues that could affect Georgians now and in the future.
