The Cedartown Bulldogs soccer team was scheduled to play Heritage-Catoosa on Thursday in a Region 6-AAA playoff game at Cedartown Memorial Stadium.

However, due to the weather the game has been postponed until noon on Saturday.

“We are the No. 2 seed in our sub-region and they are the No. 3 seed in their sub-region,” Bulldogs Head Coach John Sheffield said in reference to the Bulldogs standing in sub-region ‘B’ and the Generals standing in sub-region ‘A’.

If the Bulldogs beat Heritage-Catoosa on Saturday they will make the Class AAA state playoffs for the first time in the boys short soccer history.

Cedartown will enter into the game with a 10-3 overall record.
