2. The Western Art Invitational is currently on display at the Visual Arts Gallery in the Cultural Arts Center, 316 North Piedmont Ave., Building 300, Rockmart. Gallery hours are Fridays and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
3. The Kiwanis Club of Cedartown meets every Friday at 12:15 p.m. at Cherokee Country Club.
4. Several members of Shorter University’s music department will perform alongside the Balkan String Quartet on Friday, Feb 24, at 7:30 p.m. The free concert will take place in Brookes Chapel, located on the main campus in the Cooper Fine Arts Building.
